“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” — Scott Adams
“My purpose is to create and to explore who I am with the work I have been given. Observing the world in a new and fresh way, each drawing takes me on an exciting journey of personal growth and creativity. I have always enjoyed black-and-white, trying to utilize tones and avoid line drawings. I enjoy the richness that charcoal creates and the seemingly endless range of tones. My hope is that my drawings will reflect the simple beauty all around us.”
– Cindy Eisbrenner
Born in Alberta, Cindy Eisbrenner loved spending time outdoors on the family farm. Influenced by the beauty around her, she spent many hours observing, interacting with and drawing farm life. Cindy has been drawing since she was a young child, developing a deep wonder for the world around her.
As a wife and mother of three children, Cindy Eisbrenner invested much of her time into family and her children’s education, taking art courses as time would allow. As her children grow she is finding more time to study art. She has taken courses in graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, perspective and realistic drawing. Her love for simple shadows and light are evident in the charcoal and graphite drawings she creates.
Inspired by many of the old masters, Cindy was fortunate to spend time in Europe exploring art. Her artwork is influenced by the community, family activities, and nature. Most of her drawings are snapshots of elements from her life.
Cindy’s art continues to advance as she is now producing and selling limited edition prints and originals online and in a variety of art shows.
